Still Working

May 30th, 2009 admin No comments

Greetings. It is Saturday and I am still working. Running a company, whether it is public or private, means that you work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. I noticed that new videos have been uploaded to our music website. If you have not already visited it, you should check it out. The URL is www.watchmod.com. Also, please tell your friends and family about it, and tell them to upload their music on to it as well.  Although most of the videos are professional, that is not a requirement.

Interview is now available

May 26th, 2009 admin No comments

The interview that I wrote about on my previous post has been released. You can listen to it on CEOcast’s  site at www.ceocast.com/(mtmabo45go3oopqs15g53h45)/company.aspx?id=2105.

If you go to the site, you will have to log in to it to get access to the interview.  Signing up to the site is free of charge, and you don’t have to buy anything at any time.  I wanted to put it on our site, but CEOcast did not allow me to do it.

If you get a chance to hear it, I welcome any comments you have (I never liked by voice).

Broadband Activities

May 21st, 2009 admin No comments

Greetings,

We are currently working on setting up video streaming and video-on-demand for two of our websites.  There should be an announcement on them within the next few weeks.  If you have not already seen it, take a look at our music video community site at www.watchmod.com.  We have music videos featuring both legendary artists and fresh, young talent.  If you know of anyone who has music that they want to feature or people who just like music, tell them about Music On Demand (MOD).  New content is continually being added.

OBN’s growth over the past year

May 19th, 2009 admin No comments

In 2007, in order to increase OBN Holdings’ shareholder value, we elected to shift our business model from a vertically-integrated entertainment company into an internationally diverse multi-industry conglomerate. Since the shift was made, the value of your company has grown significantly. The charts below provide information of that growth. For a complete copy of OBN Holdings’ financial statement, click here to go to the SEC link.

Chart 1 – This chart provides a graphic representation of the growth of OBN Holdings’ assets.

Our new business model has been in place for a very short time. We expect significant growth to continue at a rate of at least 10% to 15% per year for a minimum of 5 years. Moreover, since we are, and will continue to be, diversified internationally, economic downturns should not have significant effect on our growth and development.

2008 3rd Quarter Financials Filed

May 19th, 2009 admin No comments

Today we filed our 3rd Quarter 2008 financial statements.  The statements show that we increased our net worth from the previous fiscal year by nearly $5 million, resulting in a positive shareholder value of $3.5 million. The earnings per share increased from a negative $0.15 to a positive $0.19 per share. Moreover, total assets rose from $0.45 million to over $5.4 million while total liabilities were reduced from $2.0 million to under $1.8 million. Once our business plan is fully developed, I expect the company to have double digit growth for at least the next 5 years. Also, we expect to be back on the OTC Bulletin Board within a relatively short period of time.  You can see a graphic presentation of our growth by looking at the “OBN Holdings Financial Information” post on this blog.

Welcome to my Blog

May 13th, 2009 admin No comments

Greetings and thanks for visiting my blog. I have created this to provide you with updates of OBN Holdings’ activities. The company has come a very long way since we began in 2001. OBN started out as a U.S. based entertainment company, and has developed in to a multinational conglomerate. Many opportunities for growth and development have presented themselves, and we are in the process of exploiting those opportunities.

Most people never have the ability of experiencing the development of a public company – they just read about the results after it happens. Without revealing any confidential information, I want to provide you with an inside look at what goes into growing a public company.
